Online gentle yoga

Every Sunday morning, from 10:00 to 11:00 (CET), I teach online gentle yoga. Gentle yoga is a soft and accessible type of yoga that is focused on finding balance, relaxation and releasing tension in the body. Expect a combination of yin yoga, mindfulness, meditation and some more dynamic but gentle movements at the start of the class to warm up the body. The class will be given through Zoom and is offered through sliding scale. The bottom of the scale is 3. The suggested price for a yoga class is 7,50, but any payments offered over the full-price amount will go toward providing pro bono sessions.

Depending on the preferred language of the participants, classes will be given in either English or Dutch.⁣⁣

As a yoga teacher I find it important that my classes are accessible to anyone, regardless of experience with yoga. Given that every body is different, I offer variations for most of the poses. Should you however have an injury or specific medical condition, please contact me through e-mail or before class, so that I can help you find variations or alternative poses that work for your body. ⁣⁣

Once you have reserved your spot, you will receive the Zoom link for the chosen class. Bookings close an hour before the class start time.

Are you not able to join the live class? No worries! Each class will be recorded. After the class I will send you a link to the replay video. You can then watch the video at any time you want.

    Britt is a great yoga teacher who really makes you feel at ease, also if you’re not so familiar with yoga yet. She shows lots of variations on poses, so you’ll always find a pose that feels right for you. For me, her classes are a perfect moment to take a step back and turn inside.

    I very much appreciate following Britt’s yoga classes. I especially like that she explains how the poses should feel and where you should feel it instead of how it looks. For me, it also helps that Britt provides plenty adjustments to poses so that the yoga suits best to your own body.

    Britt geeft fantastisch les, ook in het Nederlands! Ze legt erg goed uit wat je in een houding kunt voelen en waar dat goed voor is. Of je nog maar pas yoga doet of al ervaren bent, de lessen van Britt bieden voor iedereen wat hij/zij nodig heeft en aankan. Door de vele alternatieve houdingen die zij aanbiedt omdat ieder lichaam anders is, ervaar je de les als helemaal op maat. Deze les was erg heilzaam voor me in een drukke periode op mijn werk, heel erg bedankt Britt.

    Britt is a wonderful teacher. Although I wasn’t much of a yoga person, she made me feel at ease and I’m actually really enjoying it now. The class provides just the right balance between dynamic and relaxing, and it’s accessible to different levels and bodies; working with whatever your body can or can’t do.

    Wonderful class! Britt is a fantastic teacher. She gives clear directions and comes up with all kinds of alternative poses so that everyone can get the most out of her class. For instance when you have an injury, or if a pose just doesn’t feel right. These classes are lovely for both beginners as more experienced yogis.
